St. John’s Hellenic Dancers were formed in February 2019 under the direction of Father Dean Panagos, Vasili Kreatsoulas and Ria Boutsikos. The group performs across Long Island featuring dances from all over Greece. We practice once a week, in the evening, with the schedule being released in the bulletin every month.

Those interested in becoming part of the group must be 18 or over and are encouraged to join between September - January after festival season to learn the dances and choreography. You can come, practice and dance for fun and fellowship and also to participate in performing.

The group is an important part of the St. John’s community with many of the dancers being volunteers, Parish Council and Philoptochos members. If you would like to join (or come when you can), contact Vasili at 631-219-1278 or Fr. Dean.
