BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Board of Trustees will host a Sunday Brunch immediately following Liturgy on Sunday November 1st.  
General Assembly meeting Sunday Nov 1st following Liturgy and Brunch. 

PHILOPTOCHOS
If you would like to serve coffee in Memory of a loved one, the Philoptochos will take care of all for you for $150 donation. Please call Liz Loizides at 475-4579 at least two weeks in advance. Please pay your 2010 dues as soon as possible, we must send it to National Philoptochos.   

SOCIAL CLUB
In the coming months we will be attending a LI DUCKS baseball game, taking a trip to Atlantic City, visiting the East End Wineries, a NYC Museum and seeing a play at the Gateway Theater.  If you interested in joining the Social club please contact Dean @ 631-207-5728.

STEWARDSHIP/FAIR SHARE 
PLEASE START MAKING YOUR PLEDGE NOW. WE NEED YOU….YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU. TO DATE WE HAVE 171 FAMILIES, WE HAVE A LOT TO GO TO REACH 683 FAMILIES. WE ARE MORE THAN ¾ WAY THROUGH THE YEAR. PLEASE HELP OUR MEMBERSHIP DRIVE. WE NEED EVERYONE TO BECOME A MEMBER. SUPPORT YOUR CHURCH. IF YOU ARE ALREADY A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING, PLEASE SPEAK TO OTHERS AND TRY TO MAKE THEM STEWARDS EARLY ON IN THE YEAR.
THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING THE FAIR SHARE PROGRAM. IT CANNOT BE LEFT UP TO A FEW FAMILIES TO SUPPORT AND HELP RUN THE CHURCH.
WE NEED EVERYONE’S SUPPORT.
Members who are stewards of our Church are kindly urged to help the Stewardship Committee by informing the parishioners and friends of St. John’s about becoming sustaining Stewards for the year. This would help the church in its Membership Drive. Thank You. 



MEMORIAL TREE 
Memorial Tree Service - 

The Memorial Tree has been placed in St. John’s to memorialize deceased relatives and friends. The names will remain on the tree in perpetuity and will be memorialized twice a year in a special service. The cost of each leaf is $1,000. Up to three names may be placed on each leaf. 

 

ALTAR BOYS
ALTAR BOYS MUST REPORT TO THE ALTAR AT 9:45 A.M. IF THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO SERVE.  THE SCHEDULE WAS MAILED TO YOUR HOME AND IS  POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE CULTURAL CENTER.   FR. JOHN ASKS THAT YOU PLEASE BE ON TIME. PROPER ATTIRE PLEASE, LIGHT COLORED SHIRTS AND TIES, NO SNEAKERS OR SWEATS.  IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE DATE YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE OR MS. SUNDAY SCHOOL

GREEK SCHOOL 
Registration Requirements : 
2009 Church Membership paid - Fair Share Card
Please note all Greek School fee's must be paid in full. 
Registration Fee's :
Kindergarten : $350
1 Child : $600
2 Children : $1,075
3 Children : $1,500

If you are member of another church and would like to register for  St John's Greek School please have your parish membership card with you.  There is an extra fee of $225 for members of other parishes.

Please note that a Greek School Admission Pass is required to attend Greek School Classes.  This will not be issued until all requirements are met.

Parents must deliver their children at approximately 4:55pm.  Doors will open at 4:55pm and all students will be allowed into the building at 4:55 pm sharp.

Dismissal at 8:00pm Sharp.  Parents must pick up their children from the classrooms.

ICON PANELS - LEFT SIDE OF THE ARCH - 6 Apostles with Theotokos and Angel - $7,500.
RIGHT SIDE OF ARCH - 6 Apostles with one Angel - $6,500.  Please see Father John.

Each of the side windows is 2,500 for the stained Glass.  Anyone interested in donating a window please see Father John.
